The mine closed some years ago, after a lot  of the turquoise was mined, and a big proportion was sold to non Native Americans, who have made quite a lot of mass produced (allbeit very lovely) pieces of jewelry, marketed as "southwestern" or "indian style" or "native american style".
Because the mine is closed, this turquoise is quite rare, especially when it is used in Native Made pieces.
